Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an American professional basketball player for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, after which she was drafted by the Wings as the 5th overall pick of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her older brothers. Being the youngest of her siblings she was the most spoiled one from her family. Gregory was her father. He was serving in her father's army, the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale participated at 2013 the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and was awarded Gold medals at both. On July 7, 2014, Ogunbowale was selected to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was named on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first year of collegiate basketball. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after making several impressive shots during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale may be new to basketball but she has rapidly established herself. Arike Ogunbowale is said to be worth $5 million, according to an anonymous source. Even though she's a basketball player, Ogunbowale excels in various other sports as well. Her other passions include soccer. She was awarded State Cup titles for Lake County United Soccer Club as well as FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. She even studied piano for seven years.
