The CW Hellcats is the comedy/drama of a college cheerleading competition executive. Hemmensperformances received acclaim reviews from critics, and many called her the breakout star. The show was eventually cancelled in 2011 after just one season. The Vampire Diaries and Grey's Anatomy were among her guest roles. Hemmens made an appearance in 2014 as one the leading roles of Tyler Perry's Oprah Winfrey Network Prime Time soap-opera If Loving You Wrong.
